Learn to Row Summer 2017

We may be biased but we believe there is no greater feeling than getting out on the water on a warm summer’s day.  Whether you’re looking for a new competitive sport, a hobby to keep up the fitness or simply a place to make new friends, a learn to row course with The Lincoln Rowing Centre is the place to start this summer.

Our summer course will be running from 30th of June for 6 weeks.

The course costs £75 and includes a years membership to British Rowing!

Whether you’re sporty or not but would and like to try something a little different please get in touch by clicking the link below and one of our dedicated coaching team will be in touch with more details.

Lincoln Head – The Draw

The Provisional Draw for Lincoln Head is now available on the 2017 Head Page.

Please make sure all your competitors and supporters read the appropriate supporting documents before the weekend.

Landing stage allocations will be available for your trailer drivers on the final draw later in the week.

Any queries please put them to head@lincoln-rowing.org.uk

We’re Recruiting!

This year is an Olympic year and with that in mind we’d love to show you around our sport before our GB rowers take to the water in Rio!

One of the first events we’re going to be running in the lead up to Rio is a Learn to Row course which will start on the 18th of May for 6 weeks. If you fancy getting a little fitter, a simple paddle or if you’re determined to go backwards at speed then please get in touch with our coaches through learntorow@lincoln-rowing.org.uk

World Record Rowing; we’re at it again….!

During the 20th to the 23rd of December our Lincoln Rowing Juniors are going to be taking part in a charity ergathon at the Lincoln Hilton Double Tree Hotel to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Centre.

During the 3 days they will be keeping the machine spinning continually for 80 hours in an attempt to break the World Record for the longest continual row by a mixed team made up of under 19 year olds!

Any support would be very welcome and gratefully received. Below is a link to their fundraising page, every little helps towards their target!
